Spiritually grow into LOVE, with Grace and Ease

Being OK with, and from there Loving, All that shows up
starts with BEing OK, with ourselves
and from there, Loving Ourselves.

Another way to say this is:
Being IN Love, Being Love with my sisters and brothers
starts with knowing I am OK in God
and from there, letting God love me.

For most of us, this is HARD.
Possibly Impossible.

I have found it is easier to be ok with myself, love myself;
when I am standing on a good foundation.
When I am identifying spiritually and in a spiritual consciousness, not merely flesh/ physical.

Another way to say this is:

I have found it is easier to know I am OK in God, and let God love me;

when I am standing on my true spiritual foundation.

Identifying with who I am spiritually, in God; and putting on the Mind of Christ (not merely flesh/ physical consciousness).

.
I interfaced this week with a man who means well,
and identifies as spiritual, as Christian.
But is very spiritually sensitive in certain ways,
and therefore feels all the lies that people live.

He judges them, and presumably himself, for this very human pattern.
He identifies as someone who dislikes humankind and avoids human society.
Interfacing with him, helped me see, that most of us do this, to a degree
(but we don't own it like he does ;)

We judge ourselves and others and the world, and God....
because 'how it is' doesn't measure up to our 'pictures'/ beliefs/ concepts
of how we/ they/ it should be/ behave.

This is how most of us operate on the physical, in our everyday consciousness.
Judging that we do this doesn't help.
It does help to note this is garden-variety human behavior ;)

.
BUT
It IS missing the mark.

Much more IS possible for our lives!
for our ability to BE with ourselves, others, this reality, God...

We can choose a trajectory that helps us get out of our own way:
  • to BE
  • to BE with
  • to BE in compassion
  • to Love
  • to DO sweetness in the world, from there...

BTW,
This is not possible from a physical consciousness and identity.

Let me say it again:
This is not possible from a physical consciousness and identity.

The best the flesh/body can do in this direction, no matter how well-meaning,
is strive to act 'good', pretense, hypocrisy = wearing the mask.

If one Believes God is Love, Another way to say this is:
the mind of the flesh is hostile to God...
Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8: 7, 8

.
BUT, meanwhile, it is very possible, as Spirit:
We can allow ourselves to
Grow SPIRITUALLY into LOVE, with Grace and Ease.

Another way to say this is:
In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete;
for the flesh doth desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh...
And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace...
(from my favorite chapter of the Bible, since my teens) Galatians 5 (16, 17, 22)

.
From a spiritual perspective,
as we grow into a spiritual consciousness,
and we learn to identify as spirit in flesh...
(not just an evolved animal run by thoughts, beliefs, feelings, experiences, other people's programming, etc.)

We can grow into consciously being
OK with,
and from there Loving All Our Relations
... including ourselves.

.
May we allow ourselves to
May we allow God to

Spiritually grow us into LOVE, with Grace and Ease.

Amen,

Wendy

... I think it is all about receiving Love spiritually,
and letting it pass through us to others...

kind of like spiritually, beholding and reflecting the Glory,
but a different spelling is:
spiritually, beholding and reflecting LOVE.

BTW, this post is one response to this FB post.

The Way Jesus Loved - and we can too!

I've been having a bit of a challenging morning.

We enjoyed a sweet Women's Circle last night,
and sometimes after leading programs where shifts happen and new possibilities open for myself and for others...

Spiritually, I experience push-back from within myself

and from external forces that don't agree-with the Light.

This can feel shitty
- like fear, like pain, like invalidation, like I SUCK...

Until I regain my sea legs, and take the helm again ; )

.
Fortunately, something Jesus showed me a couple years ago, just came to mind.
And of course it is helping open to the Light.

Jesus showed me a way in which he lived,
and in which it serves us humans to live:
IN Love!

IN/ With/ As/ Filled-up with God's Love,
overflowing with the spiritual experience of Oneness,
experiencing our Wholeness and Completeness directly from our Source!

Jesus showed me:
when I come to my relationships full - overflowing with Love,
I am free to just love - period.

I am free to fall into Love.
To more and more easily & naturally love God, love myself, love my body, love my life, love the humans & all my relations, love my path, love Momma Earth, love all of Life, love ALL...
just as we are and just as we're not.

In this consciousness, I am free.
I am free to align and follow the Light where it leads.

.
When I come to Life empty, needing, focused on my brokenness, etc.
- I cannot truly love.
- I'm in a much too self-centered, precarious, vulnerable expereince, to call it love.

I am not aligned with/IN the Light,
I am off-track,
I am screwed.

I am, of course, always falling off this horse
(of BEing IN the Soul expereince of Love)
and eventually, gratefully falling back on the horse... repeat.

Being IN the spiritual experience of Love,
gets me out of the way - Life is Not About ME.
From there, I remember: I am FREE to be, to do.

.
This is crazy empowering, and life-changing, IMO/E,
so I will say it again:

When I am IN Love,
I get out of the Way.
I Realize my Freedom to Be, to Do.

Regardless if *I* am tempted to like or hate me.
Regardless if *they* agree or judge me.
Regardless if I seem successful or not - etc.

I am free to Love, to Validate, to Heal,
to be IN Light, to follow the Way God leads.

When I let the River of Life, Love, Truth, God... flow through me
- I am well, and all manner of things are well.

I easily share this cascade of Love with all I meet, I can't really help it.
I really appreciate when I am in that place, IN Love.

.
Now let me go find that horse - it ran off somewhere ;)

Blessings on your Unique Path,
Wendy

Forgiveness: Not by might nor by power, but by Spirit

Forgiveness I: Saying YES to God's Blessings

Most of us have tried to forgive in the past, to varied success; we end up:
- thinking about it,
- complaining about it,
- feeling crappy & stewing about it,
- re-living it,
- yelling or crying about it,
- TRYING to let go of it!

Although I have been known to indulge in the above activities, I have found another way that Really works for me: Inviting the blessings of God, the ENERGY of forgiveness into my system. When I spiritually allow-in forgiveness blessings, it miraculously shifts my energy: my thoughts, my feelings, my Resistance to letting-go of the past, my Attachment to my pain, hurt, anger, resentment and my stories of what I think I need for a 'fair' conclusion. All this begins to melt away, and a more delicious experience grows within me, as I allow God's spiritual blessing IN and my energy shifts.

For me forgiving others is hard enough, forgiving myself is the really difficult part for me. What about you? Trying hard to forgive (myself or others) never got me very far, rather I have found the miraculous power of forgiveness truly is by Grace, not by force of will.

God is constantly showering us with mighty blessings, which we rarely let IN - how do we consciously & experientially allow God to spiritually bless us? How about try this: to let in God's blessings, it can be as straightforward as asking God for the spiritual blessing of Forgiveness by noticing a waterfall of Forgiveness energy from God into my body and the space around me. From here we have the potential to shift, sometimes subtly, sometimes profoundly. This higher energy can fill us with the blessing of forgiveness, and wash-out all the other detritus. It can be that easy to shift spiritually, if we let it.

Mother Mary is my go-to for forgiveness.
Ask her to assist you to heal and forgive.
You can intend to learn from Mary spiritually/vibrationally/monkey-see, monkey-do, about forgiveness.

This may take practice, it may require some help BTW
- this isn't how we are trained - but TRY it!
Forgiveness II: Sharing God's Blessings with the Our World

Jesus spoke about forgiveness, a lot actually. One thing he said that kind of wraps-up his perspective for me, is: "in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged."  I used to think of this saying as a tit-for-tat kind of thing - a Judge sitting there, looking at what I did and having me 'reap what I have sown'.  If I was/wasn't willing to share my toy, therefore the Cosmic-Cop would increase or limit my access to more toys!

It turns out that the very-same judgement that I live-in and I allow for others, Really Is what is applied to me. But, having looked at this as a spiritual healer for quite a while now, I have a very different perspective on the mechanisms behind this process.  God isn't rewarding or punishing me!  It is a matter of the energy I am inhabiting.

From my perspective, the waterfall practice/analogy is really powerful here.  What I notice spiritually is: if I allow God to Grace me with the blessing of forgiveness, invite in the waterfall of the energy of Forgiveness, all those around me are in it as well.  If I allow you to be in a waterfall of forgiveness, then I am in it too - I have to be!  So what I allow for myself, you get.  What I allow for you, I get.  It is that simple.

This is not only a tremendous key in our forgiveness process, in my experience, but in all aspects of our lives: love, peace, joy, trust, healing… The blessings I allow God to shower me with, you get.  The blessings I co-create with God to shower on you, I get.  What an easy, beautiful way to transform our world!

Forgiveness Part III: Being with What IS

Spiritually, I perceive Forgiveness, as very similar to the energy of Validation, Truth, Certainty, Acceptance, Gratefulness, and 'Healing that is an experience of the Wholeness we Already Are', in God. This seemed really strange at first, because from a flesh/body-perspecitve, from my experiential, intellectual and emotional perspective, these ideas had been very different things for me. But, eventually I realized what they had in common: They are all about 'Being with what IS.'

Powerfully, spiritually 'BEING with what IS' opens up a whole new world to us. Many of us are fighting, judging and resisting what IS. It is can be life-changing to start allowing the energy of 'Being with what IS' to shift our spiritual perception, as well as how we consciously experience ourselves and our world.

In my ministry, I work with spiritual focus and energy. I believe, practice and experience that when we allow God to bless us with different energy, we change spiritually – then everything inside us and around us changes. And it does. We co-create our lives with God, from the inside-out. When we say YES, God can assist us to change our mind, change our heart, change our experience. There is much wisdom to support us in this process of' BEING with what IS'.

I find it fascinating to apply the distinctions and power of 'BEING with what IS' to Forgiveness! What I have noticed, as a spiritual healer for the last decade: at its core, Forgiveness really is fundamentally 'BEING with what IS' on every level of our being. What they did, what I did, what happened, how that affected me, them, the world…. this can just become a FACT, a past-reality; without a big-long story, without a truck-load of emotionality attached. I really can stop suffering, stop living in the past, and just BE; and I can let them do the same.

Amazingly, the healing progression over time can end up in 'Loving What Is'. It really can. And the process is not because we are mighty forgiveness machines, or because we power/fight-through it, it is by saying YES to Grace, by allowing God to bless us with the spiritual gift of forgiveness.

Blessings on your unique path, Wendy

Standing outside the Fire

.
If your knowledge of fire
has been turned to certainty by words alone,
then seek to be cooked by the fire itself.
Don't abide in borrowed certainty.
There is no real certainty until you burn;
if you wish for this, sit down in the fire.
~ Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi

I believe poetry is wonderful because there is no exact meaning, it means many things, and different things to different folks. Below are 3 thoughts, of many, I have regarding the quote. I would love to hear your ideas!

.
1) Experience and practice, being in present time with our body and in this world, ARE reality - I hear Rumi say: jump in with no holds barred!

Theory and hearsay are shadows of reality.
I would rather directly experience what is real and true and love and God... for Myself... not second-hand (That is like watching it on TV, it is not LIFE!) AND at the same time, oh how reality Burns!

But then, no one can say this theory or that theory to me, I KNOW my experience - that is my own certainty, not someone else's belief or theory... (Christian writer Paul says: "in order that we may be no longer babes, tossed and carried about by every wind of that teaching but... holding the truth in love, we may grow up to him in all things")

.
2) God (Light/Love/Life/Fire) burns up everything that is not God (Light/Love/Life/Fire). My favorite preacher, Dr Bruce Morgan, used to say this all the time, for me it is axiomatic.

From my perspective, everything comes from God and everything returns to God. I can flow with the process or resist it.  From my level of resistance I can suffer little or much.  But in the end, everything ends: everything goes into the fire...

.
3) One of the Christian spellings for Rumi's quote, I believe, is Jesus saying: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me".

I would translate this something like: I must let go of letting the 'lower/ego self' run the show... Paul calls it 'flesh', let go of the physically-focused self; and be who I really am as spirit, a part of God, and walk my unique spiritual path. This fulfills me and naturally serves the world; AND this Way goes through the fire, the cross, there is no way around it! Just like Jesus did, in his unique way, we have the opportunity to do, in our unique way.

When we stop chasing around outside of us (fixing, changing, squirreling, consuming, desiring, worrying, scheming, helping, controlling... ad infinitum) and focus inside of us (which feels like sitting in the fire, no? at least at first!!!) then, well, that is IT.  The way can be painful, but the fruit is sweet.

The fire could be THE BELOVED (GOD), it could be LOVE, it could be LIFE, it could be BEINGNESS.  Here is one possible reading of Rumi's words, that could sum all these things:

If your knowledge of GOD
has been turned to certainty by words alone,
then seek to be cooked by GOD directly.
Don't abide in borrowed certainty.
There is no real certainty until you are consumed/transformed through/by GOD;
if you wish for this, sit down in GOD.

Of course I find myself singing Garth now  ; )
Life is not tried, it is merely survived
If you're standing outside the fire
